Salesforce CI (Continuous Integration) - SFDX + Bitbucket Pipelines

This Saturday 20-July-2019 I was virtually connected with Chandigarh Salesforce Community regarding "TrailheaDX 2019 Global Gathering - Chandigarh Edition". I presented on a topic close to my heart i.e. CI (Continous Integration) using SFDX and Bitbucket Pipelines. The core of this session was to:

  • Find a reasonable and cost-effective way to get CI done along with VCS(version control system). It's quite easy to go fancy and complicated with CI.

  • Keeping budget and simplicity to configure and use in mind. This was to make CI affordable and manageable for even small services companies and individual freelancers.

  • Sharing baby steps to take forward with CI, without making it too complicated.
