Salesforce Tableau, one of the most popular data visualization tools, continues to add capabilities to stay ahead in the analytics space. In the latest Tableau keynote at Dreamforce ‘24, Salesforce introduced several new features and integrations to take data analysis and business intelligence to the next level.

From the launch of AI-powered platforms to collaborative workspaces, we saw several new enhancements in Tableau. Let’s have a detailed look at all the key announcements and updates from the latest Dreamforce conference.

Tableau’s CEO Ryan Aytay introduced Tableau Einstein, a new cutting-edge AI analytics platform that integrates autonomous and assistive agents, allowing users to turn raw data into actionable insights seamlessly.

How is it different from Tableau? While Tableau focuses on visualizing data, Tableau Einstein uses AI to analyze the data and provide actionable insights without requiring users to dig deep into the data themselves.

It's perfect for busy professionals who need to stay on top of key performance indicators without diving deep into detailed reports.

#6 Tableau Marketplace to Launch Soon

Set to launch in February 2025, the Tableau Marketplace will allow users to share custom-built analytical applications and agents both internally and externally. This platform encourages the reuse of assets and facilitates collaboration across teams and organizations.
